Jewelry - necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and some pottery as well.
I have been making my own jewelry since I was a little girl. I love the process and continuing the art of developing my craft. It’s my joy to make quality pieces for people to wear everyday and cherish.

Nature inspired artwork!
Mainly: stickers, handmade clothing, mugs, postcards, prints, posters, totes, and bandanas.
I am a PLNU grad (class of 2020), and when I lost my job due to COVID, I started posting my art online, and the rest is history. I now work full-time creating art inspired by the outdoors that gives back to social reform.

Locally produced Alpaca yarn and yarn creations such as scarves, hats, gloves, and other hand-made items from Alpaca yarn.
When I was in my twenties I worked with a petting zoo. There were Llamas in the little zoo and I quickly fell in love with them. Overtime we considered owning Llamas. Being a knitter I started to learn about the wonderful yarn made from Alpacas. I discovered that Llama fiber is not as soft as an Alpaca's fiber. We decided we should get Alpacas. Alpaca fiber overall is warmer than wool, softer than wool, and as knitter I really enjoy the feel of Alpaca!
We strive to be a sustainable operation, and we work to give our animals as fine a life as we can. We shear them once a year (like getting a haircut) at the end of Spring so they stay cooler in the Summer and we have that fiber made into yarn, also at a mill local here in San Diego.
From that yarn, we create our hand made Alpaca products!

I am deeply passionate about the combination of vulnerability and creativity through art. Through my own experiences, I have found it crucial to remind myself and others of the importance of being real and how beautiful that is. May you find pieces of hope and belonging in these smalls gifts.

I sell curated thrifted and secondhand clothing items in hopes to reduce the consequences of fast fashion and build community between those who love fashion!
I began this account during quarantine when I was craving creativity. I have always had a passion for clothes as well as community, so I thought to bring those together in a fun way. Originality is what primarily sparked my interest in my work because I know that my style is unique to who I am and I wanted to create an opportunity for others to find and explore their own style!

Hand made wooden bowls, boxes, pens, cutting boards, etc. prices for these and other products I make very from $5 up to several hundred dollars.
I have been a gardener at PLNU for 18 years. When a tree growing on campus would break a limb or would need to be cut down for some reason, I would save the logs and mill them in my home shop. Almost all of the items I make are made from wood that comes from the urban forest of PLNU.

Hand made soaps, using a variety of colors, shapes, essential oils and fragrance oils.
It's been a life-long dream of mine to make my own soaps and personal care products that promote relaxation and the feeling of freshness.
In 2019 my daughter and I started making soaps for ourselves and family members, and in 2020 we registered the business and started making larger quantities and eventually we got the opportunity to start selling it at a local market in North Park. We will soon have an online presence (other than Instagram) where we can sell our products.

Handcrafted leather products that are cut, stitched, and oiled by hand. The perfect gift for everyone with various styles of bags, pouches, and keychains. Each piece is unique in it’s design and completed with the Lōkahi signature emblem.
With a lot of free time on his hands, my dad decided that he would become an artisan of leatherwork. He experimented with several designs and concepts, never planning on doing anything with his work. One of the things that he made was a messenger bag that I brought with me to college. After receiving lots of compliments and requests for the bag, I asked my dad to make a few products that I could sell and use the proceeds to help pay my college tuition. This allowed my dad to contribute to my college experience in a way that he couldn’t previously do, as well as offered students the chance to have a unique piece of ethical art to use around campus.
My Ecuadorian host sisters and I sell Amazonian and California - inspired seed bead jewelry, including bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and rings.
Hi there! My name is Lizzy Moyer, and I am a graduate of 2017. Shortly after graduating with a degree in Kinesiology and Art, I ventured off on a volunteer trip to the Amazonian town of Tena in Ecuador. While there, I worked in a health clinic, taught English through music, and organized sports groups, but, most importantly, I spent precious moments with the family that hosted me. Within the family of nine, there was a shaman, wonder woman mother, artist, jungle tour guide, chefs, and handicrafters. Most days after volunteering, I would come home to my host sisters stitching away. I wanted to be a part of, not only bonding with them, but making the beautiful jewelry I adored! By the time I had left, a few months later, I had developed this new hobby of jewelry-making. Each piece requires time, detail, and precision, which leads to a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art. As of now, my host sisters and I are teaming up so we can share our masterpieces with the rest of the world!

Kendall's Cards
I have always loved to draw and doodle, and I decided it would be fun to sell some of my drawings! My parents have also always asked me to make cards for friends' birthdays since I was a child. I thought it would be great to combine my drawing and card-making skills into a little business, and I got started with it about a year ago. I do it because making cards is so relaxing for me, but I also love knowing that I can give people a piece of paper that will encourage their friend or family member!

I'm a sophomore visual arts and music major selling my art at ROG:) my art is minimal and colorful, some of it is meant to be interesting and thought provoking, but most of it is just aesthetically pleasing. My style of art aims to mix interesting colors and designs to evoke a sense of calm and depth.
